July Trial
440 E. Sutton Road
Metamora, MI 48455
June 30 and July 1, 2012
No shade or water. The venue is a hilly, freshly-cut hay field about 250 yards long and varies from 170 to 220 yards in width. Bring your own shade. Bring your own water. Food will be available for purchase.
Saturday: A hundred year tradition continues or so it seems. MGA will hold its Saturday evening potluck and live auction fund raiser after the field trial. MGA will provide the meats and a handful of dishes to pass. If you can bring something to pass, that would be wonderful.
As dinner winds down, we will hold our traditional live auction of items you have contributed. Please bring a wrapped gift if you can that would be appropriate for a sighthound or sighthound owner – please indicate what breed it is for on the exterior of the package. Always fun, the auction frequently offers some real deals to bidders, so don’t be shy – and MGA makes a little money to upgrade equipment and put on future trials. Everybody wins.
Monday: Lure Coursing Specialties for Ibizans, Ridgebacks, and Whippets
